Land Acknowledgement

Unlocking Hope Counselling respectfully acknowledges that we live, work, and gather on the traditional territories of the peoples of Treaty 7 in Southern Alberta, which includes the traditional lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani Nations), the Tsuut’ina Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda Nations (Bearspaw, Chiniki, and Goodstoney First Nations). We also acknowledge the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.

We honour the histories, cultures, and ongoing contributions of Indigenous peoples and are committed to ongoing learning, reflection, and respectful relationships.
